Save A Lot Of Money! Don't Replace,! Croz will Repair the Dumpster!

 




Even roll-off dumpsters wear out or rust through. Replacing them is quite costly, but refurbishing them with some creative welding extends the life of the dumpster at a fraction of the cost. These are some shots from many years ago refurbishing some dumpsters for a local refuse company. It's always interesting what I will be welding next.

Helping To Strengthen New Car Wash












This is the all-new 7 Flags Car Wash going in across from Ryan’s Automotive on N. Texas Street in Fairfield CA. I’m having to remove these angle Iron clips and replace (weld) them with larger ones. This is also what the finished establishment will look like. It will be a fully automated, Self-Serve Car Wash, and the vehicles will be guided down the tunnel by a huge conveyor belt that the car sits on. Pretty Cool.

Air Stream Gets a Replacement Coupler - Customer Gets to Go Camping!

 




                      Bay Area Air Stream called me out to replace yet another damaged coupler.

The bummer was, this lady came in Saturday to pick it up and set out on her adventure. They didn't get the replacement coupler in until 10:30 today, but I was ready to install it.

This was a 20' Basecamp model at $54,400, with state tax it's just south of 60 grand! Some of the trailers on their lot had stickers up to $200,000.00

Replacing Spring Hanger Brackets at North Bay Truck Center

 I was called out to North Bay Truck Center to remove the broken and worn-out Leaf spring hanger brackets and weld on new ones. I Carbon Arced off the old ones, prepped the frame, fit the new brackets and welded them on.

Croz Repairs Car Transporter Ramp at North Bay Truck Center








I was called to North Bay Truck Center to repair a ramp on a Car Transporter where the Pin had failed using the parts from a non matching ramp. I had to literally dissect both ramps. To salvage the ramp and remove the failed pin, and to get to the pin on the doner ramp to be used on the original ramp.

It's all pretty standard but sometimes it just takes longer to to complete than others!

Helping To Keep Electric Cars Charged. Croz Custom Metal Fabrication

 






Last year, because of COVID, Potential Electrical Design Services decided to cancel one of the Tesla Super Charger stations in the Vacaville Factory Stores. They had to cut some of the mounting tabs off in order to install them and couldn’t return the modules with them missing. So I made them like new again.

Hand Cart Fabricated to Move a Fire Water Pump


This was a temporary Hand Cart I made to mount the Engine of an emergency fire water pump that supplies backup water to the building during an outage. They needed to bring it down to the basement through the freight elevator and hand maneuver in place.

Welding In Stainless Steel Injection and Monitoring Ports On HVAC Coolant Lines










MB360 Water Line Injection and monitoring ports.

ANMAC Water Treatment Service, Inc. out of Simi Valley called me out to MB360 in San Francisco to Install 4ea. 1” Stainless Steel Injection and Monitoring ports on their HVAC coolant lines so they can keep the system balanced by adding chemicals. These fittings were installed on the fly without having to shut the system down.
